The Florida Everglades restoration is so important. This delicate ecosystem faces numerous challenges.
Despite these threats, Florida Bay remains a haven and efforts to restore its natural balance are underway. The Everglades Foundation is amazing as they continue to protect America’s Everglades through science, advocacy and education. There was a great CBS Saturday piece on the Everglades Restoration project and the progress it is making.
The Florida Everglades stand as a reminder of nature’s resilience and the need for its protection.
There are still many challenges and opportunities where we can make a difference.
